Along with the Immaculate Conception, other paintings of the life of the Madonna also used to adorn the royal tribune of the chapel, but were destroyed during the Second World War: at the centre is the Birth by Sebastiano Conca (1680-1764); at the sides the Presentation at the Temple by Giuseppe Bonito (1707-1789) and the Wedding of the Virgin by Anton Raphael Mengs (1728-1779).
