Comprising three tiers of round arches, the Ponti della Valle bridges meet on state road 265 from Caserta to Benevento, and could once be crossed by horse and carriage. The route of the duct is also marked by 67 little towers, characteristic square structures with a pyramid roof, which function as air vents and allow access for inspections.
