English Palace
Caserta Parco Reale, Giardino Inglese, Palazzina Inglese
Built between 1790 and 1794 as a residence for the English Gardener Andrew Graefer, the so-called Palazzina inglese was equipped with facilities for maintaining tools and preserving the seeds of countless specimens of plants, including some from as far away as Australia, China and Japan. The species that were not planted were kept in the greenhouses, which were built close to the palazzina.
