Bath of Venus
Architetto: Luigi Vanvitelli
Caserta Parco Reale, Giardino Inglese, Bagno di Venere
The most atmospheric area, full of picturesque corners, is the Bath of Venus, named after the statue of the goddess, sculpted in marble, which captures her as she exits the water of a little lake. The lake is surrounded by a forest of laurel, oak and outstanding examples of Taxus baccata.
