This country trattoria has been nourishing all comers for over four decades. It forms part of the Masella agriturismo, immersed in an evocative natural landscape at the foot of a mountain just outside the little town of Cerreto Sannita, the home of ceramics. Here, a passion for good rustic cooking has been handed down for three generations. Highlights include antipasti of charcuterie and cheeses, vegetable soups, home-made pasta, char-grilled meats, and mushrooms in season – like the much-prized virni, a local favourite.
