The project for this large garden of over 20 thousand square meters, completed in 1900, was appointed to the eclectic architect Emanuele Manfredi. Manfredi was also the creator of the magnificent war memorial, surrounded by the garden, that commemorates the battle of Volurno between the loyalist troops of the Borbons and Garibaldi's volunteers army.
