Not far from the centre of Caserta, this bookshop is among the best-stocked in town, especially for history, art and the traditions of the Campania region and southern Italy in general. It is named after a family that has been in the publishing business since 1920, when the first Guida bookshop opened in Naples. It is a real cultural hotbed and has been frequented by such great intellectuals as the philosopher Benedetto Croce.
